Description

Originally a Huguenot chapel, Hanbury Hall’s history goes as far back as 1719, and it has accommodated many different East London congregations over the years. Notably, Charles Dickens used this venue regularly in the 19th century for public readings of his works. With a relaxed and comfy venue, the atmosphere in this huge hall is unmatched – it’s perfect for remote working. And with Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market close by, this truly is an incredible place to settle down for the day and get some quality work done.

About the Neighbourhood

Spitalfields is a former parish in the borough of Tower Hamlets, in the East End of London, near to Liverpool Street Station and Brick Lane. The area straddles Commercial Street and is home to many markets, including the historic Old Spitalfields Market, founded in the 17th century. Current urban regeneration has also seen the building of large modern office blocks, between Bishopsgate and Spitalfields Market.
